I'm having problems with keeping my veil secure. Did anyone use anything other then the veil comb to keep it tight in your hair?
How much did you pay total for your hair %26amp; makeup if you got it professionally done?

Here's what my hairdresser did, and it was phenomenal. That veil comb stayed put all day - and night.
My hair was fairly short, maybe 3-4 inches at the crown. After my hair was curled, she took a hank of hair from the back middle of my head and just twisted it and twisted it til it coiled over on itself and laid flat. Then she sprayed it lots, and put in three bobby pins at different angles (that part hurt, because my hair is fine and she really dug them in there!).
Then the comb attached to the veil/tiara slid right in under that, and it just was totally secure. You couldn't see that 'knot' she had made at all.
Very cool.
Hope you can understand what I mean by the description. I'm sure your hairdresser knows what to do.Veil, Hair %26amp; Makeup Question?
you have to have your hair stylist work out the veil problem. bring the veil to your hair trial appointment so they can work with it. rates for hair and makeup vary all over the country and for different levels of salons, in the northeast I've paid anywhere from $20-60 just for makeup. if you go to a dept store makeup counter, you can have your makeup done and just pay the minimum purchase, like buy a lipstick for $20.
