I think black eyeliner looks great with hazel eyes. It makes them look more green than brown.Prom makeup for hazel eyes, brown hair, red dress?
You can play up your eye color with reddish brown or deeper burgundy eye shadow (try MAC ... they have a diverse range of shadow colors) which will really bring the green out in them, plus go with your dress and hair. Use a dark brown liner and smudge with a brush before apllying shadow. Finish with black mascara. Keep your lips soft with a brilliant clear or neutral lipgloss if you're wearing heavy eyeshadow (color on both areas looks overdone, even for a prom, and less is always classy).





Or, you can go the opposite way, and keep eyes neutral with pale peach/pink/gold shadow and mascara only, plus a creamy red lipstick (applied well with a brush, and over neutral or red lip liner).
