Formal Ideas - hair, makeup etc?

Hi just wanting ideas about what to do with makeup as i've never worn much before. Also with hair, i know i want to leave it down and have it curled but anymore ideas would be appreciated.


I have quite light fair skin, long brown very straight hair.


Am wearing a black dress with silver and blue in it if that makes any difference.

if you have a low dress line i recommend wearing your hair down although with curling your hair most people experience that within the first hour that their curls fall out especially if you have straight hair so i would recommend trying it first and then if it does fall out then find another great hairstyle





as for the makeup i got my makeup done by a professional for my formals and she didn't actually use much foundation only a little bit here and there, she made my eyes a feature by using eyeliner simple eye shadows (not overpowering the eye) and mascara. all she did with my lips was add a natural lipstick (to add colour to my lips) and then gloss over





i recommend getting you makeup done by a professional its not that expensive usually around $20 and its a special occasion so why notFormal Ideas - hair, makeup etc?
easy question, formal affairs are always nice to go to lol. I think light make-up is best maybe some light pink or brown lipstick would be good, a tad darker thank ur skin tone for blush and always use brown shimmer never use WHITE looks bad and like ur a china doll lol. and as for hair if you want to leave it down the curls would be good but try and do something different with the style, maybe tie the front back or use big curls and not small ones!
